Gate screens are used in e-learning to control the course navigation and progression by various means:

• Assessment-based unlocking
• Content engagement enforcement
• Personalized learning paths enablement

The original e-learning heroes challenge regarding gate screen can be found here. I found Tracy Parish‘s submission quite interesting and colorful. Unfortunately, the submission is no longer available online. Hence I decided to re-create her submission with some modifications.
